Colisiones II, 2016

This project consists of a series of photographs of crashed cars being repaired. These everyday marks of collisions are thus suspended to be contemplated, before they are covered up, fixed and “made-up” into uniform, glossy, sleek surfaces. There is a collision between daily life factual forms of being within technocratic culture and the contemplative, slow sensualness of painting.
